En Route Control Communication is the cornerstone of air traffic management. We bring together decades of experience in audio, digital signal processing. Communication switching and RF technology to ensure dependable wide area communications for en route ATM. Surveillance solutions offer the latest state of the art flight data processing and display techniques with advanced data fusion of multiple sensors. Conventional radars and new technologies such as ADS-B and wide area multilateration provide long range, wide area coverage for en route control centres.
Our unique combination of RF and switching expertise ensures reliable ground-air and ground-ground communication. Controllers, dispatchers and pilots keep contact with airside services and our other systems enable controllers to monitor incoming aircraft through the approach funnel gate and follow departing aircraft until clearing the terminal area using a single integrated surveillance system.

The Systems Engineering group meets the technical requirements at minimum risk for complete turn-key implementation. Individual system elements are chosen from within the organisation, and where appropriate, from reliable external suppliers of field proven equipment. The Programme Management group ensures that the programme is monitored and controlled to ensure on-time delivery, to the customer’s requirements and within budget. A Programme Manager is appointed for the life of the contract and acts as the central point of contact between the customer and Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems.
